i hope your week has gone wellSSSSSSSSsiyo Little Shetland Pony
The temperature is mild but the day is overcast. The temperature is in the low 50's and the snow has long since melted. The robins have returned and soon we will see raccoons and possums again. They lay low in Winter and you don't see them as much. In the Spring they like to get in my garbage but I don't really mind too much. I lay out dogfood for them sometimes. We also have bears in our area since I live 2 miles from Pisagh National Forest. They are generally harmless but when I see one I call the Park Rangers who will drive them back into the forest. Afterall, the are not cuddly creatures. I hope you are well and in good spirits. Have a nice Wednesday. Your friend, James

I am up early waiting for sunrise over the mountains. You begin watching sunrises you will discover that no two are the same. I can connect with the Creator and further my goal of getting my life in balance and harmony. You can be of more help to others and reflect on the paths of our ancestors. I hope you are well and in good spirits. Your friend, James

have a great weekendSiyo Little Shetland Pony
It has been a beautiful day. I just returned from Lake Julian Park from a little nature watching. I took a loaf of bread and sat down on one of the benches near the lake. The ducks and geese saw me and came right up to me wanting bits of bread. The quacking and honking were loud and some of the ducks came to the bench. I fed the ducks and geese while they acted like they haven't been fed in months. After the bread was gone so were the ducks and geese seeking someone else to feed them. It was fun. The weather was almost Spring-like. Perhaps this is the beginning of an early Spring because I have seen enough snow and ice over the last two months to last me quite a while. I hope you are doing well and have a good rest of the day. Your friend, James

An ice storm is beginning as we speak and it is supposed to turn into a snowstorm by this evening. The good news is that it will warm up on Wednesday and melt the snow. The bad news is that people will have to come home in the ice and it is near impossible to drive on ice. I pray for all these people that they make it home safely today. I hope you are doing well. Stay warm. Stay safe. Your friend, James

wishing you a great week aheadSiyo Little Shetland Pony
The snowstorm brought us 14 inches of snow on Saturday but it has stopped today and people are beginning to dig themselves out. There is a steep drop off on they way to my home with a lot of curves and it is known as "dead man's curve" and there are cars scattered all over it which have been abandoned. Our road has not been scraped yet so I am stuck in for the current time. I got home yesterday just as the weather was beginning to get bad. I could use the timer inside to catch up on some chores. I hope you are well and in good spirits. Enjoy your day. Stay warm Be safe. Your friend. James
